Rentals:

We offer rental options for Scooters, Wheelchairs, Power Chairs, Knee Walkers, Hospital Beds, Transport Chairs, and Lift Chairs.

Our rental periods are flexible, and you can rent our equipment for up to a month at a time. However, we also offer daily, weekend, weekly, or other customized rental rates based on your needs.

Yes, we offer delivery services for rented mobility products for an additional fee based on the distance from our location.

Yes, there is a delivery fee for renting mobility equipment from Mobility City of Detroit, MI, and it is based on the distance from our location.

Yes, we can deliver and pick up rented mobility products to your hotel as long as you are a registered guest.

No, we do not offer insurance for rented mobility equipment.

Yes, only the first month’s rental fee is applied towards the purchase price of the mobility equipment. For instance, if you rented a scooter for three months, only the first month’s rental fee will be applied towards the purchase price.

Not directly. Customers can rent mobility equipment and take them with them for their cruise.

Yes it does! We come to you!

Yes we do service electric scooters that are considered durable medical equipment. We do not service scooters that are deemed recreational.

You can if you like, however you may need to drop off with us to do the repair.

Technicians:

Yes, they are employed by Mobility City of Metro Detroit and have submitted to background checks.

Yes, our Technicians are vaccinated.

Yes, our Techs are insured.

In-Home Delivery:

We provide White Glove Delivery Service (WGD) to our customers for new mobility equipment. We service the Metropolitan Detroit area

Once mobility equipment is purchased (and delivered if necessary. I.e., Stairlift) we will contact you to schedule a WGD or installation

We come to you! Our truck is beautifully wrapped in our Red, White & Blue color scheme and our company name Mobility City!

We do carry batteries for almost all makes and models of Mobility (Scooters, Power Chairs, etc.) and Access (Stairlifts, Elevator lifts, etc.)

Currently we do not carry Lithium batteries, however we can order them for you.

We do sell chargers!

We do not purchase used mobility equipment.

Yes we do! Mobility City of Metro Detroit is an industry leader with our variety and selection of mobility equipment! We are a dealer for the most popular brands in the market (Golden, Pride, Drive, etc.)!

We do! One of our 1st actions when working on a repair is to determine if the mobility device is under warranty. Our labor, however, is not covered under warranty.

Sanitization:

We sanitize manual mobility equipment using a steam cleaner! Our steamer heats up to 220 degrees and kills 99% of pathogens. We also as part of a scooter tune up or repair, “detail” it before it’s returned to the customer.

Generally that is up to the usage by the customer. For example if a customer uses their mobility equipment heavily/regularly, they may need it sanitized monthly.

We can sanitize equipment either in our store or a customer’s residence!
